Hearts in August!?!

Yes! Beautiful clay hearts!

I've been wanting to make this for some time now and decided

today was the day! It's made from clay and I am going to be

selling these and many other designs at my

Etsy Store soon ~ so stay tuned . . .

 Shown below as a zipper pull

but can easily be made into a necklace or charm.

These were so much fun to make! I'm NOT done either!

Pumpkin Tray

Okay . . . ANYONE who knows me, knows that Autumn

is my favorite time of year AND pumpkins are such a BIG part of that love.

This tray is not really square but I'm going to say it measures 12" x 12".

It was an unfinished wood tray and I just sprayed it with black paint

and then gave it a coat of clear matte finish. The paper I used for my ZIA pumpkin is

Strathmore Bristol Vellum. I used decorative scissors to cut the paper

and then backed it with a piece of black paper. The tray came with glass,

but I switched it out with a piece of plastic to cover my art.

I had a blast making this and WILL be making more.
